The Middle Atlas

After we left Fès, we crossed a region covered in forest of oak, cork and giant cedar, before we reached the plateau where we took the following beautiful photos with local people.

The High Atlas

After Ait Benhaddou, we started our trip to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas. On the eastern part of the mountains, the desert side, the rocks have a green hue due to the copper, and the region is very dry. As we descended towards Marrakech, the entire landscape changed into reddish rocks and planted land, reflecting the humidity that comes from the ocean.
